New Music: blackbear feat. 2 Chainz - 'gucci linen'
Following “up in this” with Tinashe and “bright pink time” with Cam’ron, blackbear unleashes “gucci linen” with 2 Chainz, the latest collaboration off his forthcoming album, cybersex.
Over a thumping instrumental with electronica vibes mixed in with hip-hop, blackbear raps about Gucci linen and never loving women. “When I’m fucking, call me papa,” he raps. “They saying I’m a problem / I’m high as a bird, Nelly Furtado / No Nelly, it’s getting hot in herre.”
Flexing his boisterous flow and boastful punchlines, 2 Chainz comes through with a verse about his own sexual exploits and love for Gucci. “Gucci my spread,” he brags. “Green and the white and the red / I took me one to the head / Then I took me one to the bed.”
Currently on tour with Fall Out Boy through Nov. 18, blackbear is prepping the release of his upcoming LP, which is also set to feature the aforementioned singles. cybersex is due on Cyber Monday, Nov. 27.
