Remy Ma Readies New Single with Chris Brown

Hot off the release of her Lil’ Kim-assisted single “Wake Me Up,” Remy Ma confirms that her next single off 7 Winters & 6 Summers will feature Chris Brown.

The Bronx rapper announced the Breezy collab during an appearance on “TRL.” “The next single is with Chris Brown,” she said. “‘Melanin Magic,’ aka ‘Pretty Brown.’ It’s amazing.”

For now, Remy is prepping the release of her “Wake Me Up” video, which she previewed on “TRL.” The song features the Queen Bee and was inspired by her Hard Core standout, “Queen Bitch.”

But that’s not all. Remy said she’s actually filming videos for new singles “every two weeks” and that the album will also feature A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. Plus, there could very well be a Cardi B collab in the works.

“I’m hoping that everything goes accordingly,” she said. “I sent her over the records and we talked about it. She pressed me when I seen her at the VMAs. She was like, ‘We gotta do a record together.'”

No matter who appears on the album, 7 Winters & 6 Summers is expected to feature a lot of introspection, inspired by her time in prison. “Everything that became me, that I learned, and that I grew into is what you’re going to get on this album,” she said.

7 Winters & 6 Summers is due early next year.
