Video: Post Malone feat. 21 Savage - 'rockstar'
Post Malone becomes a martial arts star in the gory video for his chart-topping smash “rockstar.”
Directed by Emil Nava, the dramatic visual is a lethal sword battle. Dressed in all white, White Iverson gets his Kill Bill on, dismantling foes with swift sword-fighting skills. Blood gushes, sprays, and splatters, while Malone and Savage celebrate success.
The video launches with a parental advisory notice due to its violent nature and it certainly lives up to that warning. By the end of the gruesome battle, Malone and Savage stand with blood-soaked shirts while dead men lay all around them.
“rockstar,” which remains No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for six weeks, is a single off Malone’s upcoming Stoney follow-up, Beerbongs & Bentleys. Due Dec. 1, the album is expected to feature appearances from Nicki Minaj, John Mayer, Ty Dolla $ign, and Tommy Lee.
