New Music: Roy Woods feat. dvsn & PnB Rock - 'Balance'
Roy Woods is back with some “Balance.” Before dropping Say Less, the OVO crooner delivers his dvsn and PnB Rock collaboration.
With dvsn’s Daniel Daley on the hook, the soulful track with sped-up vocal samples finds Roy singing about control. “I told you, don’t let them control you,” he pleads. “They can’t fit in your shoes.”
Rock finds himself in search of a casual sexual encounter. “You don’t listen when I try to tell you things,” he explains. “But I ain’t looking for love, girl, I met you in the club / We was just high of some drugs / I hit you off in the bathroom.”
Following “What Are You On?” and the title track, “Balance” is a cut off Woods’ Say Less LP. Also boasting appearances from 24hrs and PARTYNEXTDOOR, Roy’s highly-anticipated debut is due Dec. 1.
