Xscape Performs 'Just Kickin' It' on 'GMA'
Still kickin’ it. Just as their reunion tour kicked off, Xscape celebrated their return with a performance on “Good Morning America.”
The quartet of Kandi Burruss-Tucker, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, and sisters LaTocha and Tamika Scott, who reunited after a 20-year hiatus, began the set with “Let’s Do It Again,” before blending it into “Just Kickin’ It.” Imploring the audience to kick off their shoes and relax their feet, the group delivered a throwback party.
Dressed in matching catsuits with graffiti lettering, the foursome showed a united front. They also downplayed the drama on their Bravo docu-series, “Xscape: Still Kickin’ It,” which is set to end this Sunday.
“It’s interesting,” Kandi explained. “We knew that there was gonna be a little drama because we hadn’t been around each other in so long but we were able to mend things and you get to see the good along with the drama.”
This past week, the crew hit the road with Monica and Tamar Braxton on “The Great Xscape Tour,” which is set to continue across North America through Jan. 6.
