Dave East Remixes Fabolous and Jadakiss' 'Soul Food'

Dave East serves up some “Soul Food” on his latest “East Mix,” a remix to Fabolous and Jadakiss’ Friday on Elm Street standout.

Over the soulful sample, the Harlem MC cooks up his own horror movie-inspired alter ego. “Blue rags ignite the fire,” he raps. “Freddy and Jason out, they forgot about Michael Myers / No chaser, walk up on you, I won’t waste it / At dinnertime, I’m Ginuwine, I’m so anxious.”

Recent “East Mixes” have included JAY-Z’s “Ain’t No Ni**a” and Dame Grease’s “Good Morning America.” Last month, Dave dropped his Karma mixtape featuring “Bentley Truck” with Chris Brown and Kap G.

Earlier this year, Dave also unleashed Paranoia: A True Story. He is now prepping his debut album for release next year.
