Merry XXX-mas. Just in time for the holidays, XXXTentacion releases his holiday-themed EP, A Ghetto Christmas Carol.
The 5-song offering kicks off with the title track and continues with “hate will never win,” “Up Like an Insomniac,” “Red Light!,” and “Indecision.” It also includes production from Ronny J. Announcing the set on social media, Tentacion wrote: “ITS OUT FUCKERS.”
A Ghetto Christmas Carol arrives months after 17 and just before X goes to trial. According to Pitchfork, prosecutors are breaking up his case in two, the first of which will be focused on his witness-tampering charge. The first-degree felony carries the “most serious potential penalties under the law,” according to the report.
He was also charged with aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment. His trial was set to start today (Dec. 11), but has been postponed. His next hearing is scheduled for Dec. 15.
