New Music: Cardi B feat. 21 Savage - 'Bartier Cardi'
Bardi’s back. After making history on the Billboard Hot 100, Cardi B unleashes “Bartier Cardi,” the long-awaited follow-up to her No. 1 hit “Bodak Yellow.”
Featuring 21 Savage, the song is a celebration of the Bronx bombshell’s love of diamonds and fast cars. “Your bitch wanna party with Cardi,” she raps. “Bartier Cardi in a Rari, diamonds all over my body / Shining all over my body.”
Bacardi’s full-length debut comes on the heels of two mixtapes: 2016’s Gangsta Bitch Music, Vol. 1 and 2017’s Gangsta Bitch Music, Vol. 2.
Ever since “Bodak Yellow” made an impact, Cardi B has been fielding questions about her upcoming debut, which she has been vocal about doubting and second-guessing.
“I got six, seven solid songs that I like,” she said in October. “But I wonder if a month from now, I’m going to change my mind. It’s not as fun to do music. My mind doesn’t flow as free ’cause I have so much on my mind.”
The album is now due early next year.
