Frank Ocean Hints at New Music in 2018

  /  01.03.2018

Frank Ocean is kicking off the new year with a cryptic clue about new music.

Taking to Tumblr, the “Chanel” crooner dropped an image of a man wearing a hat that reads “If you liked 2017, you’ll love…2018.” His mysterious caption adds: “new 18-99.”

At least part of the message echoes what Ocean revealed in his October 2017 i-D cover story. “If you liked two thousand and seventeen,” he wrote in the piece, “then you’ll love two thousand and eighteen.”

Ocean’s 2017 was full of buzz singles and collaborations, including “Provider,” “Slide,” “Slide on Me,” “Lens V2,” “Biking,” “RAF,” and “Chanel,” among others.

Frank hasn’t dropped a full-length album since 2016, when he released the double dose of Blonde and Endless. He is now expected to drop a new LP this year, though a release date and title are unknown.
