Video: Famous Dex feat. A$AP Rocky - 'Pick It Up'

While their trap-meets-soul collaboration “Pick It Up” rises up the charts, Famous Dex and A$AP Rocky unleash the chaotic video.

Directed by AWGE/Hidji Films, the video features a mash-up of special effects, depicting a trip to a swap meet. The shopping spree is complete with electronics, sneakers, T-shirts, bootleg CDs, and designer bags for Dexter, Flacko, and the ladies around them.

The duo takes the party elsewhere, too. At one point, they hold court in a makeshift office, where having fun is more important than business. Later, they link up with two models atop a mattress in the back of a party van.

“Pick It Up” was released in October and is now certified gold. It precedes Famous’ forthcoming album Dex Meets Dexter, which is set to drop this spring.

Meanwhile, A$AP Rocky is gearing up to drop his own album this year. Earlier this month, Flacko “tested” out new material, but a release date remains.
