Drake Drops Two New Tracks, 'God's Plan' and 'Diplomatic Immunity'
The 6 God is back. On Friday night, Drake unleashed his surprise EP Scary Hours, comprised of two tracks, “God’s Plan” and “Diplomatic Immunity.”
“God’s Plan,” co-produced by Noah Shebib, Cardo, and Boi-1da, finds Drizzy reflecting on a different kind of woes: “Bad things / It’s a lot of bad things / That they wishing on me.”
On “Diplomatic Immunity,” produced by Boi-1da and Nick Brongers, Drake raps about SZA (“I just pulled up on Solana’s show / The girl’s a natural”), the Billboard Awards (“I claimed 13 out in Vegas”), and his relationship with Jennifer Lopez (“2010, when I lost my halo / 2017, I lost a J.Lo”).
The hip-hop mogul, who recently extended his partnership with the Raptors, has been in Toronto recording the follow-up to last year’s More Life.
