Migos Ties The Beatles for Most Simultaneous Hot 100 Hits Among Groups

  /  02.06.2018

Rae Sremmurd might be the “Black Beatles,” but the Migos just tied the actual Beatles for most simultaneous Hot 100 entries among groups with 14.

Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff managed to reach this feat mostly with songs from their 24-track album Culture II, which bowed at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 199,000 equivalent album units. Thirteen of the songs came from the album, while the 14th was their Gucci Mane collaboration “I Get the Bag,” according to Billboard.

Three of these songs reached the top 20. Featuring Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, “MotorSport” is the highest Migos song on the chart this week at No. 8. “Stir Fry” follows at No. 12 and the Drake-assisted “Walk It Talk It” arrives at No. 18.

The Beatles were alone with the record for almost 54 years. The closest any multi-member collective has been to that record was the cast of “Glee,” which scored nine songs on the Hot 100 in 2011.

Drake still holds the record for most simultaneous tracks on the Hot 100 among all artists with 24, thanks to songs off his More Life playlist.
