Remy Ma has cut ties with Vincent Herbert.
The Bronx rapper has reportedly ended her short-lived working relationship with the music mogul when he failed to live up to his promises of being a “super manager,” according to TMZ.
Remy has complained that Herbert was unable to fulfill basic duties, including booking studio time and scheduling performances, according to the report.
Additionally, insiders claim that Remy didn’t want to be involved in Herbert’s family issues, following his divorce from Tamar Braxton, and the domestic violence allegations that followed. Insiders say that the personal tribulations are currently Herbert’s main focus.
The “All the Way Up” hitmaker hired the veteran manager in October of last year upon signing a reported multi-million dollar record deal with Columbia Records. Since then she’s released “Melanin Magic (Pretty Brown)” with Chris Brown and “Wake Me Up” with Lil’ Kim. She is now prepping the release of her sophomore album 7 Winters & 6 Summers.
