Video: Khalid & Normani - 'Love Lies'
Khalid and Normani show off their chemistry in the video for their “Love Lies” collaboration off the upcoming Love, Simon soundtrack.
The clip kicks off with Khalid setting up a special night via text. “Are you down?” he writes. “Always,” responds Normani. Then, Khalid reveals that he’s a valet worker at a hotel, where the Fifth Harmony songstress is about to arrive.
Normani rolls up to the spot in a fancy whip. Khalid opens her door, and she heads up to her room, before unleashing the seductive and sharp dance moves that made her a 5H standout and a “Dancing with the Stars” favorite.
Khalid watches her dance moves from his valet post before sending celebratory emojis via text. “Love, Khalid,” he closes the text. “Love, Normani,” replies the Fifth Harmony star.
The duo previously teamed up on screen in the video for Khalid’s “Young Dumb & Broke” last year.
“Love Lies” was produced by Bleachers’ Jack Antonoff, who is executive producing the soundtrack for the upcoming Love, Simon film, which stars Nick Robinson, Katherine Langford, Jennifer Garner, and Josh Duhamel.
Love, Simon hits theaters March 16.
