Stream Young Dolph's EP 'Ni**as Get Shot Everyday'

Young Dolph leaps out once again with Ni**as Get Shot Everyday, a surprise six-track EP that continues his ongoing series about getting shot.

The new project kicks off with “Kush on the Yacht” and ends with “Blonde & a Onion.” In the middle of the EP, Dolph reveals the paranoia that comes with his life.

“Sold a lot of dope,” he raps on “Paranoid.” “I do it for the dope boys / The feds in the hood, this shit got me paranoid / The feds in the hood / and I heard they takin’ pictures, let me knock on wood / I hope those folks don’t come and get us.”

The project follows last year’s Thinking Out Loud, Tracking Numbers, Bulletproof, and Gelato. The title, Ni**as Get Shot Everyday, references a history of gun violence that has affected Dolph.

One year ago, in February 2017, Dolph was the apparent target of a shooting in Charlotte, where his bulletproof SUV was shot at more than 100 times. He was not in the vehicle at the time. By September, he was shot multiple times in Los Angeles, where he had to be hospitalized.

Ni**as Get Shot Everyday also references Cam’ron’s famous line from the classic film, Paid in Full. “Ni**as get shot everyday, b,” he says in the video. “You’ll be alright, ni**a. You tough, right?”
