Watch Nipsey Hussle's Funk Flex Freestyle
Fresh off the release of Victory Lap, Nipsey Hussle provides a career-spanning freestyle on Hot 97. Live from Ciroc Studios, the All Money In No Money Out boss drops the latest freestyle on Funkmaster Flex’s ongoing series.
Over the instrumental to Nas’ “If I Ruled the World,” the Crenshaw rhymer goes in with a series of verses from his discography, including tracks like “What These Bitches Want,” “Can’t Spell Success,” “Mark My Words,” and “Foundations of a Man,” all centered around “Stucc in the Grind.”
“Rockin’ knee highs, drinking white wine,” he raps. “Listening to In My Lifetime in the night time / Looking at the city skyline, getting sky high.” In between verses, he would also perform the song’s chorus: “Stuck in the grind, stuck in the grind, I’m stuck in the grind / Look me in my eyes, call me on my lies.”
Last week, Hussle released his long-awaited debut album Victory Lap, featuring appearances by YG (“Last Time That I Checc’d”), Puff Daddy (“Young Ni**a”), Kendrick Lamar (“Dedication”), and more.
