Gucci Mane has big plans for his 20-year high school reunion. El Gato, the Human Glacier doesn’t just want to attend it. Instead, he wants to pay for it himself.

“This year marks my 20th year from graduating high school in 1998,” he tweeted. “I want to personally invite anybody who graduated from #McNair aka McNasty aka #BouldercrestHigh to v103 car and bike show to go with me and also I want pay for our 20 yr reunion myself!”

Guwop recalled his high school experience in The Autobiography of Gucci Mane, which dropped last year. “I graduated from McNair in the spring of 1998 with a 3.0 GPA and a HOPE scholarship to Georgia Perimeter College,” he wrote.

However, the East Atlanta Santa opted not to gun for higher education immediately. “I was doing pretty well for myself in the streets, so going back to school was the last thing on my mind,” he added. “So I didn’t go. I think they call that a gap year.”

Eventually, he enrolled at Georgia Perimeter College, where he felt like an outsider and he said his college experience was brief.

McNair High School’s Twitter account has shown Gucci love in the past. Last year, they retweeted a post that promoted his book. They also celebrated his Billboard Music Awards nominations, writing: “We are so proud of our McNair High School Alumni!!”

Next up, Gucci’s autobiography is set to hit the big screen through Paramount Pictures and Imagine Entertainment. He is also working on his next solo album The Evil Genius and a Glacier Boyz joint effort with Migos and Lil Yachty.
