Anderson .Paak Brings Out Dr. Dre in London

  /  03.14.2018

Anderson .Paak surprised fans when he brought out Dr. Dre during his Apple Music show at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on Tuesday (March 13).

The Aftermath boss popped up on stage, which was made to look like an enormous mouth. “You know I had to bring the big homie out,” said .Paak, before the Compton icon rocked the mic in all black to perform “The Next Episode” off his 1999 album 2001.

“It’s the motherfuckin’ D-R-E,” he yelled, before changing the lyrics to shout out his latest signee. “You know I’m mobbin’ with my ni**a A.P.” It was reminiscent of a similar moment that took place at Coachella in 2016.

Anderson celebrated his latest performance with Dre on Twitter. “Still can’t get over last night,” he wrote. “Many Many thanks @AppleMusic @beatsbydre.”

The one-night-only event follows Andy’s “Til It’s Over” single, which was also used for an Apple HomePod commercial. Up next, he is expected to release his debut album on Aftermath, after signing to the label in 2016.
