Stream Snoop Dogg's Gospel Album 'Bible of Love'

Snoop Dogg takes it to church. After dabbling in reggae and funk, Da Doggfather unveils his first gospel album, Snoop Dogg Presents Bible of Love.

The D-O-Double-G appears in and curates the project, which features an astounding 32 songs, with appearances by Charlie Wilson, Faith Evans, K-Ci, Kim Burrell, The Clark Sisters, Daz Dillinger, Jazze Pha, and more.

It may be a departure from his usual sound and style, but it’s still a revelatory work from one of rap’s most beloved icons. Snoop opens up about his faith all over the new project, including the spoken word piece “Pain.”

“A lot of times, you see me performing for thousands of people, filling their hearts with love and joy, not knowing that I’m going through so much pain,” he says. “But God knows everything, and I mean everything, that I’m going through.”

Snoop announced the album back in May. “It’s always been on my heart,” he said. “I just never got around to it because I always be doing gangsta business or doing this or doing that. I just felt like it’s been on my heart too long. I need to do it now.”
