Stream Tiara Thomas' 'FWMM' EP

  /  03.19.2018

Tiara Thomas invites you inside her world on her EP FWMM, an acronym for Fucking With My Mind.

The 7-track project features introspective songs like “I Need,” on which Tiara opens up about heartache. “I’m not sober. I need to be,” she sings. “I’m not over you leaving me.” Later, she dives into her thoughts on the title track. “It’s fucking with my mind,” she sings. “Something’s wrong with me.”

In addition to her deep thoughts, Thomas blends singing with rapping throughout the diverse project, which boasts tracks like “Sex Drive,” a cut about bedroom romance, and “Retro 1’s,” an ode to Michael Jordan’s classic kicks.

Tiara tells Noisey that the EP is meant to represent her head trips. “I’m in my head a lot about a lot of shit, and that’s why I decided to call the EP Fucking With My Mind. I think I was really honest with it. It’s fun and it’s sexy and it’s vibey, but I’ve got serious songs.”

After releasing the EP, she celebrated by thanking all of the people who helped her along the way, including H.E.R. “Thank you to my baby sis @hermusicofficial for having me out on the road with you when you coulda had anyone,” she wrote. “You a real one!”

Thomas also added: “Today I’m extremely grateful, dunno what I did to deserve such amazing people! Everyone, please go stream!”
