XXXTentacion is off house arrest.

The controversial rapper, who just released his album ?, asked a Florida judge to remove his ankle monitor and allow him to tour. He argued that not touring would negatively impact his finances and that he would be in “dire straits.” Later, a judge obliged, according to TMZ.

However, he isn’t entirely off the hook. XXXTentacion reportedly still has to submit monthly drug tests. He must also report his travel.

Tentacion is facing 15 felony charges for witness tampering in an ongoing domestic violence case. The rising star’s ex previously accused him of beating her while she was pregnant.

X’s lawyer, David Bogenschutz, was happy with the latest ruling. “Hopefully these are the first steps towards complete freedom,” he said.

XXXTentacion’s debut album ? is on track to top the Billboard 200. It has spawned two Hot 100 hits, “SAD!” and “Changes.”
