Video: H.E.R. - 'Focus'
H.E.R. asks her man to “Focus” in the dark and moody video for her latest soulful single.
The mysterious songstress finds herself washing dishes and arguing during a candlelit dinner. Meanwhile, her man plays on his phone and ignores her completely. Later, she finally confronts him about attention-lacking ways.
“Wish you would just focus on me,” she pleads over Chinese takeout. “Can you focus on me?”
This doesn’t seem to alter his behavior, because he just keeps on paying her no mind, resulting in frustrations. But something happens in the middle of the clip. Static hits the screen, and suddenly, H.E.R. is in a different type of relationship. Her man is attentive. They play games together, and he even feeds her some of the Chinese food with his chopsticks. Relationship saved.
“Focus” appeared on 2016’s H.E.R. Vol. 1 and it also popped up on last year’s H.E.R. Vol. 2: The B Sides. Watch the visual below.
