Lil Wayne’s daughter Reginae Carter and YFN Lucci were crowned king and queen at InstaGala, a “grown-up prom” event in Atlanta over the weekend.

The royal couple posed for prom pictures and walked away with the crowns. “Y’all know Ion play fair,” wrote Reginae in an Instagram post displaying her long black gown.

Reginae and YFN celebrated the crowning in front of flashing lights. “I’m honored,” she said in a video from the event, while Lucci kissed her shoulder. “Thank you!”

The celebration comes with criticism. Some have bashed the couple’s age gap, noting that Reginae is 19 and YFN is 27. The rapper is eight years older than Reginae and eight years younger than her famous father, Lil Wayne, who’s 35.

Recently, someone said he would “beat the shit out” of a 30-year-old for trying to date his “18-19” year old daughter on Twitter. YFN responded with: “Who 30 bitch?”

Lucci recently released his debut album, Ray Ray from Summer Hill, featuring Meek Mill (“Street Kings”), Offset (“Boss Life”), Wale (“Too Much”), Dreezy (“Come with Me”), and T.I. (“Keep Your Head Up”).
