T-Pain Launches Wiscansin University

  /  03.30.2018

T-Pain launched Wiscansin University, and fans “Can’t Believe It.” The Tallahassee star announced his latest campaign on social media, promoting a new line of school-themed merch.

Inspired by T-Pain’s pronunciation of Wisconsin as “Wiscansin” on 2008’s “Can’t Believe It,” the campaign includes a dedicated website. It features a comedic rundown of faculty members, campus life, academics, and more.

Naturally, T-Pain is the dean of the school, which offers an array of classes. Courses include “The History of Auto-Tune,” “Bottoms Up Film Studies,” “Cooking With Teddy,” “Accounting for Strippers,” and “The Working Stripper.” The school’s mission statement reads: “We ignore what matters most and focus on having the most fun.”

Although Wiscansin U is new, it already has some famous alumni. Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, and DJ Khaled are among the school’s illustrious list of graduates. Famous College Dropout Kanye West is apparently also an alum.

The hilariously fake university works to promote a new line of merch. Currently, T-Pain is selling Wiscansin T-shirts, hoodies, crewnecks, and hats. He’s also hocking a mug that reads: “This is some bullshit.”

When he’s not on campus, T-Pain has been in the studio recording a string of T-mixes and his long-awaited album Stoicville.
