Rihanna Stars in New 'Ocean's 8' Trailer
Game on with the glacier girls! Rihanna stars as computer hacker Nine Ball in a new trailer for the star-studded Ocean’s 8, which hits theaters in June.
The latest teaser is a peek into the heist film, which also stars Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, and Helena Bonham Carter.
It’s all about the ice. Debbie Ocean (Bullock) and her team of specialists plan a major heist. They set out to steal $150 million dollars in diamonds from actress Daphne Kluger (Hathaway) at the Met Gala.
Linda Ronstadt’s 1970s classic “You’re No Good” soundtracks the teaser. The stars shine in the comedic clip, which cleverly teases: “Having this much fun is a crime.”
Rihanna isn’t leaving music behind. She’s the most certified artist in RIAA Digital Songs history, but continues to diversify her portfolio. She has Fenty x Puma, Fenty Beauty, and even a reported lingerie line in the works.
Directed by Gary Ross, Ocean’s 8 hits theaters June 8.
