Wale Remixes H.E.R.'s 'Every Kind of Way'

Wale keeps dropping new music in “Every Kind of Way.” After unleashing It’s Complicated and “Negotiations,” Folarin remixes H.E.R.’s single.

Adding his own twist to the Gabi Wilson favorite, the Maybach Music Group MC provides timely bars that reference Cardi B, Drake, and “God’s Plan” co-producer, Cardo. “She told me ‘Be Careful’ like Cardi B,” he raps. “But my cardio’s gotten smaller, it’s more like Cardo Got Wings / It’s ‘God’s Plan.'”

Later, he explains his inability to discriminate when it comes to the ladies. “A young intellectual who became a boss, but still mess with the strippers with pistols in their Goyard / Sophisticated or ratchet, I can’t ignore both.”

In March, Folarin dropped It’s Complicated. Since then, he also released “Negotiations,” which addresses his ongoing talks for a new deal post-Atlantic. Meanwhile, “Every Kind of Way” appeared on last year’s H.E.R. and H.E.R. Vol. 2.
