Wiz Khalifa Announces 'Rolling Papers 2' Release Date

  /  04.20.2018

Wiz Khalifa celebrates 4/20 with a series of songs and an album release date.

Listening to the Luniz’s classic weed anthem “I Got 5 On It,” Mister Cap announced a July drop date for Rolling Papers 2. “July 13,” he said on Instagram Live (via HipHop-N-More). “Rolling Papers 2, man. The king returns.”

RP2 follows 2016’s Khalifa and 2014’s Blacc Hollywood. Formerly called Khalifa Kush, it marks the sequel to 2011’s Rolling Papers, which introduced much of the world to the “Black and Yellow” star. Last year, he also dropped his Laugh Now, Fly Later mixtape.

It’s a big day for Khalifa. He also joined Ty Dolla $ign and Stephen Marley on Damian Marley’s “Medication (Remix).” Additionally, he dropped the in-studio version of “420 Freestyle.”

Earlier this month, he also rolled out the video for “Hunnid Bands.” Watch the smoke-filled clip below.
