Watch Nicki Minaj's 'Chun-Li' Video Teaser
Bitch, it’s King Kong. Nicki Minaj offers a sneak peek at the video for her latest single “Chun-Li.” The teaser clip, which was shot on set of the actual video, stars Nicki and choreographer Aliya Janell. Clad in lace and black patent leather leotards, the ladies kick ass with their fierce moves.
Taking to Instagram, Nicki revealed how she discovered Janell. “I saw [her] dancing to itty bitty piggy one day & fell in love with her,” she said. “Long story short, I hired her.”
But according to Nicki, the teaser is not representative of the actual video, directed by Steven Klein. “The real #ChunLi video was directed by @stevenkleinstudio and will BLOW ur fkng mind!” she told fans.
“Chun-Li” became Nicki’s 16th top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week after soaring into the No. 10 spot. She will perform both “Chun-Li” and “Barbie Tingz” on the season finale of “SNL” on May 19.
