Video: Bridget Kelly - 'In the Grey'
After releasing her full-length debut Reality Bites, Bridget Kelly has some questions for her man. She delivers that and more in the sleek video for her latest single, “In the Grey.”
Directed by Isaac Yowman, the visual has a black-and-white theme, perfectly befitting of “In the Grey’s” title. Standing on one side of an interrogation table, Bridget provides an ultimatum.
“I ain’t your woman and you ain’t my man,” she sings, while demanding answers. “I’m gon’ leave if you won’t stay / I don’t want to get stuck in the grey.”
Slick special effects show the fragility of a relationship throughout the clip. In the snap of a finger, Kelly goes from hugging her man to being alone. But the clip ends with a warm embrace.
In addition to “In the Grey,” Reality Bites includes collaborations with Ro James, Jordan Bratton, and Chaz French.
