No Shame

New Music: Future feat. PARTYNEXTDOOR – ‘No Shame’

Future and PARTYNEXTDOOR have “No Shame.” The musical titans team up on a new collaboration off the upcoming SuperFly soundtrack.

Produced by Andrew Wotman and Happy Perez, the song finds Hndrxx and PND singing about a lifestyle change. “There’s no shame in my game,” they sing. “I found new propane / I found new cocaine / Now it’s a new high / Tomorrow’s a new light.”

Directed by X, the blaxploitation reboot opens in theaters June 15. The film stars “grown-ish” actor Trevor Jackson, who recently spoke with Rap-Up about his role as Youngblood Priest.

“I’m so excited,” he said. “It’s a classic film we’re remaking. It’s basically about this guy who is really, really young but he also has a very, very top position in the drug game. He wants to leave, but because he has his hand in so many pots, and so many people depend on him for bread, it’s kind of difficult.”

The movie will also feature Zaytoven, who helped produce the soundtrack. “Curtis Mayfield did a wonderful job [with the original],” Zay told Rap-Up. “It was street and so funky, melody-driven. I was like, ‘This is perfect for me. This is the music I do anyway.'”
