Ariana Grande Calls Mac Miller One of Her 'Best Friends' After Breakup
Ariana Grande still has love for Mac Miller. In the wake of their breakup, the pop princess took to Instagram with a series of loving messages about her ex.
“This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the planet Malcolm McCormick,” she wrote. “I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us!”
“Unconditional love is not selfish,” she added. “It is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it’s not you. I can’t wait to know and support you forever and I’m so proud of you!!”

Miller has not addressed the separation yet. Last month, however, he celebrated Ariana’s newest single, “No Tears Left to Cry.” “Very proud of this girl right here,” he wrote. “Welcome back. We missed you. One of a kind.”
Grande and Miller began dating publicly in 2016. They continued the relationship though last year’s Manchester bombing and the aftermath. The reason for the breakup is unknown.
Ariana is currently prepping her fourth studio album, Sweetener, for release in July.
