Donald Glover may be headed to the Chocolate Factory.

Following reports that he’s joining the Black Panther 2 cast, the actor-rapper is eyeing another big role in Warner Bros.’ upcoming Willy Wonka prequel.

According to Collider, Glover is on the shortlist of stars for the titular role, which also includes Ryan Gosling and Ezra Miller.

Paul King (Paddington) has been tapped to direct, with David Heyman (Harry Potter) as producer and Simon Rich as screenwriter (Man Seeking Woman). Based off 1971’s Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory starring Gene Wilder, the reboot will reportedly explore Wonka’s origin, including how he amassed his fortune and launched an empire.

Glover has his plate full. In addition to starring in and producing FX’s “Atlanta,” he can currently be seen in Solo: A Star Wars Story and will voice Simba in Disney’s live-action remake of The Lion King. He is also reportedly in talks to join the cast of Black Panther 2 as a villain.

Plus, his music career continues to thrive. His single “This Is America” was certified platinum after topping the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks.
