Meek Mill to Perform at BET Awards

  /  06.06.2018

Meek Mill is coming to the BET Awards.

For the first time since being released from prison in April, the Philly rapper will hit the stage for his first West Coast performance at the BET Experience on June 22 and BET Awards in L.A. on June 24.

In a statement to Billboard, Meek celebrated the homecoming. “Looking forward to returning to the stage to perform at this year’s BET Awards and BET Experience,” he said. “I wouldn’t be here without all my amazing fans who have supported me more than ever these last few months, so this year’s BET Experience concert at Staples Center is going to be extra special. Can’t wait to see y’all there. And of course love to everyone at BET for always being a great partner and always supporting me.”

Last month, Meek returned to the stage as a surprise guest at Miami’s Rolling Loud festival. Next up, he is set to perform at Hot 97’s Summer Jam this weekend and Made in America in September.

In addition to Meek, this year’s BET Awards performers include Nicki Minaj, Migos, Janelle Monáe, H.E.R., and Ella Mai. Hosted by Jamie Foxx, the 18th annual show airs June 24 at 8 p.m. EST.
