Stream the 'Superfly' Soundtrack Featuring Future, Miguel, & Young Thug
Before the movie hits theaters next week, the stars align on the soundtrack to Superfly.
Executive produced and curated by Future, the 13 blockbuster anthems were inspired by the Director X-helmed film and carry on the legacy set by Curtis Mayfield’s original 1972 Super Fly soundtrack. Khalid and H.E.R. duet on “This Way,” while Future and Lil Wayne link up on “Drive Itself.” Other guests include PARTYNEXTDOOR, 21 Savage, Young Thug, Miguel, Sleepy Brown, and more.
In addition to overseeing the soundtrack, Future produced the film alongside Joel Silver (The Matrix, Lethal Weapon). On Tuesday (June 12), Future will perform music from the soundtrack on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
The blaxploitation reboot, starring Trevor Jackson, Michael Kenneth Williams, Jason Mitchell, Big Boi, and Rick Ross, hits theaters June 13.
