Rich the Kid Hospitalized After Home Invasion
Rich the Kid was hospitalized after being attacked and robbed during a home invasion in Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, the “Plug Walk” rapper was at his girlfriend Tori Brixx’s home Thursday night (June 14) when two masked men entered demanding cash and jewelry. Rich reportedly tried to fight them off before three more armed men entered the house.
After assaulting Rich, the men fled with a significant amount of cash and jewelry. Rich was taken to the hospital for treatment, later posting a photo of himself in a hospital bed. Brixx was also hospitalized for injuries sustained during the attack, and was discharged Friday morning.
There are currently no suspects or arrests, but sources close to the rapper believe the attack was an inside job. The LAPD is investigating the incident as a home invasion robbery.
The robbery follows a confrontation between Rich the Kid and Lil Uzi Vert, which took place at a Starbucks in Philadelphia earlier this month. Uzi reportedly physically attacked Rich, who claims he was unscathed.
