Video: Miguel - 'R.A.N.'
With the movie in theaters now, Miguel delivers a cinematic video for “R.A.N.” off the star-studded soundtrack to Superfly.
The action-packed clip draws inspiration from the film and co-stars one of the film’s actresses, Lex Scott Davis. After an opening scene from the Director X-helmed reboot, Miguel appears to be on the run. He gathers up all his cash from under a mattress and hands it to his girl, who takes off in a car. But in the end, she’s able to get away, while he gets caught.
“I know you’re so tired of / Feeling like you deserve better / You need a real ass ni**a like me,” he sings.
Produced and curated by Future, the Superfly soundtrack also features appearances from Khalid, H.E.R., Lil Wayne, PARTYNEXTDOOR, 21 Savage, Young Thug, and more.
