Cardi B's 'Invasion of Privacy' Certified Platinum

Cardi B has another reason to celebrate.

The rapper’s debut album Invasion of Privacy has officially been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America after moving 1 million units.

A grateful Cardi took to Instagram to celebrate the milestone. “Yaaaaaayyyyyyyyy !!! I’m going to treat myself with some Bookies and Milk,” wrote the pregnant rapper. “Thank you everybody for supporting INVASION OF PRIVACY.”

Invasion of Privacy debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 upon its release in April and spawned a string of platinum singles including “Bodak Yellow,” “Bartier Cardi,” “Be Careful,” and the Bad Bunny and J Balvin-assisted “I Like It,” which is currently No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

According to Chart Data, Cardi and Camila Cabello are the only female artists with RIAA Platinum albums in 2018.
