Future 'BEASTMODE 2' Release Date Was Because of Drake, Not Ciara

  /  07.06.2018

Future had social media buzzing with the surprise release of his BEASTMODE 2 mixtape, which arrived on Friday (July 6).

The Zaytoven-produced project happened to coincide with Ciara and Russell Wilson’s second wedding anniversary. But despite the timing, the release was not a deliberate move against his ex, despite what fans may think.

Sources close to Future tell TMZ that the Friday release date was not a calculated move. The album was originally supposed to drop on July 4, but Future felt that date was too close to the release of Drake’s Scorpion, and he didn’t want to compete with his friend.

Additionally, TMZ claims that Future does not keep track of Ciara and Wilson’s relationship and he wasn’t aware of their anniversary.

BEASTMODE 2, the long-awaited sequel to Future and Zaytoven’s 2015 mixtape, is now available to stream.
