Video: Tyler, the Creator - 'See You Again'

  /  08.08.2018

Tyler, the Creator continues his prolific musical output. Following “Tiptoe” and “Bronco,” the Golf Wang boss goes out to sea in the video for “See You Again” off his latest album Flower Boy.

The colorful clip finds Tyler working as a member of the Navy aboard a ship. A$AP Rocky and Odd Future’s Taco star as his fellow Naval members, while the song’s featured guest Kali Uchis also makes a cameo. Tyler leads his red-clad troops on the flight deck in a yellow beret and floral jumpsuit. In the end, he appears as a ghost, covered in a white sheet as he performs his Frank Ocean-assisted song “Where This Flower Blooms.”

The fashionable MC also graces the Fall 2018 cover of GQ Style, where he opens up about his love of jazz, relationships, Eminem, and crying when he heard Kanye West’s “Violent Crimes.”

“Those chords, like, fucking—I can’t explain what they do to me,” he told the magazine. “I always talk about chords and probably sound like a fucking dork, but since I was fucking 4 years old, I would always say it was a slant or it went up, ’cause I didn’t know what chords were, but it was a thing that music did that I just felt in my fucking body. And that was the most recent song that did it to me. Like, 1 out of 10, that shit did it a 12, and I just—my eyes just started watering. I couldn’t explain it. I hope when I die it gets explained to me.”
