New Music: Jeremih & Ty Dolla $ign feat. Lil Wayne - 'New Level'
Ahead of Lil Weezyana Fest this weekend, Lil Wayne joins Jeremih and Ty Dolla $ign on their MihTy collaboration “New Level.”
Over the Hitmaka production, Ty and Jeremih serenade the ladies. “I’m tryna put you on that level / You could do much better,” they sing, while Weezy delivers an ultimatum: “He should cut it out or you should cut him off / Scissorhands, baby, I could call Edward.”
Ty originally announced that his joint album with Jeremih, MihTy, would drop today, but it has been delayed. So far, the album has spawned the single “The Light.” Ty is currently on tour with G-Eazy and Lil Uzi Vert on “The Endless Summer Tour,” which runs through Sept. 8.
Weezy will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Tha Carter III during Lil Weezyana Fest in New Orleans on Saturday. The festival, which will be streamed live on TIDAL, will also feature performances from Jeezy, Tory Lanez, and NBA YoungBoy.
