T.I. and Meek Mill

T.I. Drops 'Jefe' and 'Wraith' Singles Featuring Meek Mill & Yo Gotti

  /  09.06.2018

The King is back. T.I. drops a pair of new singles, “Jefe” and “Wraith.”

On the bilingual banger “Jefe,” produced by Bangladesh, the Grand Hustle boss reunites with Meek Mill. Over the triumphant sound of Spanish horns, Meek and Tip trade rhymes about their lavish lifestyles, and even try their hand at Spanish.

Tip also heads down South with Yo Gotti on the Scott Storch-produced “Wraith.” “I’m just a self-made ni**a in a Wraith,” raps Tip on the ballers’ anthem.

T.I. is now readying his long-awaited 10th album Dime Trap for release on Epic Records later this year. “It’s going to be an extension or a continuation of the vibe from Trap Muzik,” he told MovieWeb in 2015. “I’m breaking it all down, back to the element of where my music first began to interest people, and build it all over again.”

Today also marks the 10-year anniversary of T.I.’s Paper Trail single “Swagga Like Us” featuring JAY-Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and M.I.A.
