Cassie Breaks Silence Following Diddy Split

Cassie is speaking out.

After her breakup with Sean “Diddy” Combs made headlines last week, the 32-year-old singer has shared a cryptic message on Instagram in response to rumors.

“F**k these hoes,” the newly-single Cassie wrote in a post on her Instagram Story on Sunday (Oct. 21). She has also unfollowed Diddy, but he still currently follows her.

Diddy and Cassie, who met in the early 2000s and went public with their relationship in 2012, have had an on-again, off-again relationship. The couple was rumored to be engaged in 2014 before calling it quits in 2015. Then they reunited only to reportedly call it off following a heated exchange in 2016. They have been separated for months now, a rep for Cassie confirmed to Love B. Scott last week.

“The decision was amicable and they remain friends,” a source tells PEOPLE. “Cassie is going to focus on her music and acting career.”

In the wake of their split, Diddy has been spotted with 26-year-old Canadian model Jocelyn Chew on several occasions including Drake and Migos’ L.A. concert at Staples Center. However, PEOPLE claims that they are not dating, despite reports.

But don’t rule out a reconciliation. A source tells Us Weekly that Diddy’s “fling with Jocelyn will likely fizzle out” and that Diddy is still “very much in love with Cassie.”
