Normani and Calvin Harris Drop Two New Tracks
Normani’s solo career is taking off. Following the success of her Khalid-assisted hit “Love Lies,” the former Fifth Harmony songstress teams up with Calvin Harris on a pair of infectious tracks.
The Afrobeat jam “Checklist” finds Normani switching up her style while singing over a hypnotic rhythm, while Wizkid completes the international vibe by adding a verse. On the second track, “Slow Down,” the R&B chanteuse adds her sultry touch over a dance floor-ready beat.
Rumors of a collaboration between Normani and Harris first began over the summer after a photo of them in the studio was posted on social media.
“Checklist” and “Slow Down” follow Normani’s collaborations with Quavo (“Swing”), Jessie Reyez and Kehlani (“Body Count” Remix), and Khalid (“Love Lies”). Normani is now readying her solo debut album for release on Keep Cool/RCA Records.
