A little over a month after the release of YSIV, Logic heads back in the studio and unleashes Volume 1 in his “Freestyle Fridays” series.

In the minute-long video, which was shot in the studio, Young Sinatra raps about his come-up while reading lyrics off his phone and showing off his tattoos. “Growing up never ever had a holiday, now I’m like hella day,” he raps. “Wanna be loved, just wanna be celebrated / If I elevated, they would never hate it.”

His album YSIV, featuring appearances from Wu-Tang Clan, Wale, and Jaden Smith, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 167,000 equivalent album units.

He also stars in a new promo for NBA on TNT, which features his YSIV song “100 Miles and Running.”
