Remy Ma and Papoose Share First Photo of Daughter

Remy Ma and Papoose are proud parents.

After welcoming their daughter earlier this month, the couple has shared the first photo of their baby girl on Instagram. Remy is seen in her hospital bed holding her newborn. Only the back of her head can be seen and a full head of hair.

The new mom was overjoyed about her arrival. “Best Christmas present ever!!! Thank you @papoosepapoose,” Remy captioned the pic.

The couple’s miracle baby, nicknamed “The Golden Child,” was born Dec. 14 after what Papoose calls a “tough labor.” Just days after giving birth, Remy returned to the hospital. According to TMZ, she suffered excessive bleeding and required emergency surgery from post-birth complications.

“I’m FINALLY back home and doing much better,” she later wrote on Instagram. “The baby has been PERFECTLY fine since being born Dec. 14th and I’m resting & recovering at home. (Pap is VERY happy, on cloud 9,999).”

Papoose reposted the baby photo and gushed about the newest addition to the Mackie family. “All hail THE GOLDEN CHILD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” he said. “Wowwwwwww I still can’t believe it.”

Last year, Remy revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage and had been taking steps to ensure a successful pregnancy. This is the couple’s first child together. Remy has an 18-year-old son, Jayson, from a previous relationship, and Papoose has three children of his own.
