50 Cent Wins Revenge Porn Lawsuit Against Teairra Mari

  /  01.11.2019

50 Cent has won his legal battle with Teairra Mari.

A judge has ordered the “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star to pay the rapper $30,000 after he prevailed in her revenge porn lawsuit.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a Los Angeles judge has dismissed all claims against the rapper.

50 Cent wanted Mari to pay his entire legal bill in the amount of $161,660.15, but instead Mari was ordered to pay $30,618 to cover 50’s legal bills for having to fight off her lawsuit.

Last year, Mari sued 50 Cent and her ex-boyfriend, Akbar Abdul-Ahad, accusing them of engaging in a plan to sexually objectify and humiliate her. She claimed Abdul-Ahad logged into her Instagram account and posted a sexually-graphic video and photo with “ejaculate” on her face. After Mari removed the content, 50 reposted the material on his own Instagram page.

“50 Cent has 18 million followers, so I was devastated and to make it even worse, even after Instagram took the picture down, he had no remorse, no regard, and he posted another photo and complained that IG was censoring him,” Mari said during a press conference in May.

50 denied the allegations, claiming that the photo had spread across the internet by the time he posted it. He requested that her lawsuit be thrown out of court.

UPDATE: Following his legal victory, 50 took to Twitter to address the case and demand payment from Mari. “Now Teairra you can cough up the money or you can go with R.Kelly and shit in a bucket. LOL,” he wrote.
