Preview a New J. Cole Track Off 'Revenge of the Dreamers III'

Dreamville’s Revenge of the Dreamers III is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated releases of 2019.

After announcing the third installment in his Revenge of the Dreamers series earlier this month, J. Cole assembled a dream team to record the compilation over the course of 10 days in Atlanta. In addition to Dreamville’s own Bas, Cozz, Ari Lennox, Reason, Zeke, Christo, and EarthGang, other artists including T.I., DJ Khaled, Wale, Swizz Beatz, and Big K.R.I.T. also joined the “rap camp.”

On Wednesday (Jan. 16), Cole announced that the sessions were complete and thanked everyone involved. “The Revengers sessions are done thank you to every artist and producer that came through,” he tweeted. “I love y’all, that shit was beautiful. Next step, finish the songs and let the 🌎 feel em.”

While fans anxiously await the release, Dreamville co-founder Ibrahim Hamad took to Instagram Stories to share a snippet of a never-before-heard Cole track that may appear on the project.

“Don’t let Cole know I’m playing y’all this,” he captioned the video, which included the hashtag #Revenge.

Now he’s faced with the tough task of narrowing down the tracks. “I’m a miss Rap Camp and all my rap camp friends lol,” tweeted Ibrahim. “Good times, now time to finish this album and the other Dreamville music coming 2019.”
