Soulja Boy Arrested After Cops Find Ammo in House
Soulja Boy is behind bars after ammunition was found in his house.
The “Crank That” rapper went to see his probation officer in L.A. on Friday morning (Mar. 15). When he showed up, he was handcuffed and taken to jail, according to TMZ.
Soulja is currently on probation stemming from offenses he committed eight years ago when he was convicted of weapons violations. In 2016, while he was on probation, cops went to his home after he made threatening comments online. During their search, they found at least one weapon, a violation of Soulja’s probation.

A judge extended his probation and warned him not to have weapons. Last month, cops were again called to Soulja’s Agoura Hills, Calif. home after a woman accused him of kidnapping her. During that search, they found ammunition, another violation of his probation.
On Friday, cops waited for Soulja to show up to see his probation officer before arresting him for the probation violation. He is currently in a Van Nuys jail and will appear in front of a judge later today.
He is scheduled to perform during halftime at the Clippers vs. Bulls game at Staples Center on Friday night, but it’s unclear if he will still take the stage.
Prior to his arrest on Thursday, Soulja was seen filming a new TV show for BET.
