New Music: Logic - 'Confessions of a Dangerous Mind'

  /  03.21.2019

Just days after announcing his sixth album Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Logic unleashes the title track.

On the introspective song, which he previewed earlier this week, Young Sinatra grapples with dark thoughts (“Maybe this bullet can help me to get away”) and the dangerous effects of social media (“When I can’t deal with the hate, I self-medicate”).

He also addresses the comparisons to his peers. “They always compare me to others and try to pit me up against all my brothers,” adds Logic. “‘You’ll never be Kenny / You’ll never be better than Drizzy and Cole / You’re losing your hair / You’re too fucking old.'”

While he admits that they’re “pullin’ me down,” he uses the hate as fuel and keeps persevering. “So I’ma turn that feeling into a sound and play it when nobody else is around,” raps Logic.
