Migos is for the children. The rap trio brought the Culture to the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
After releasing their solo albums, Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff reunited to perform a medley of their biggest hits at Saturday’s show at USC’s Galen Center. Against a towering wall of televisions, they kicked off the lively set with “Walk It Talk It.” They then whipped up their Culture II hit “Stir Fry,” while celebrities including Janelle Monáe danced in the crowd. For the finale, they delivered a confetti-filled performance of their Mustard collaboration “Pure Water.”
It was also a family affair. Offset hit the orange carpet with his children, Machine Gun Kelly brought his daughter to see Migos, and the Father of Asahd, DJ Khaled, presided over hosting duties.
And of course, there was plenty of slime. Khaled and Janelle Monáe both had the honor of getting soaked with the green goo. “Dreams do come true,” said Janelle.
